Duvaldestin, Bazire score at Vincennes

Theo Duvaldestin and Jean Michel Bazire reined winners this day at Paris-Vincennes with lightly raced trotteurs.

Destiny Du Poggio in the win

Bazire started off with a victory with 2.1/1 Destiny du Poggio (5f Bold Eagle-Sand Grenade) in the Prix du Mesle (purse 35,000€, 2700 meters, 13 European five-year old starters). Bazire trains and reined the 1.13.3kr timed mare as she won for the first time in three starts in France and she now has earned 29,760€.  Scuderia Mistero Srl owns this one that defeated 12/1 Javade Boiyton (5f Roc Meslois) that Eric Raffin handled for trainer/owner Benoit Carpentier.

On the same card driver Theo Duvaldestin won twice with Thierry Duvaldestin trainees. In the Prix de Vibraye (purse 33,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 10 three-year old starters) the 1.8/1 favorite Lover Quick (3m Charly du Noyer-Cherie Quick) scored in 1.13.5kr with Theo driving for Ecurie Quick Star to remain unbeaten in two starts. He has earned 20,250€. The 1.9/1 second choice Light My Fire (3m Ready Cash) was second for Eric Raffin and the Tomas Malmqvist/Ecurie Hunter Valley team

In the Prix de la Genevraye (purse 40,000, 2150 meters, 15 starters age four) Theo D won again with the 1.7/1 odds favorite Kantor du Vivier (4g Rocklyn-Alba du Vivier) timed in 1.12.7kr. This Thierry Duvaldestin trainee is owned by Philippe Bauvisage and he has four wins in 10 starts for earnings of 41,170€. The legendary Jean Yves Lucuyer bred this one. The 17/1 Kasachok d’Etang (4g Un Amour d’Haufor) was second for trainer/driver Charles Julien Bigeon and breeder/owner Francis L. Adam.

Kantor du Vivier

Earlier this week the champion Delia du Pommereux (11f Niky-Noune du Pommereux) was retired by owner Noel Lolic and trainer Sylvain Roger. Delia won the 2021 edition of the Prix de France and earned 1,833,755€ from 15 wins in 102 starts. She is to be bred to Davidson du Pont.
