Trixton son wins 154,000€ Gran Premio Triossi

Callmethebreeze (4m Trixton-Gilly LB-Supergill) was the gate to wire victor in the prestigious Gran Premio Triossi (purse 154,000€, 2100 meters autostart) at Roma Capannelle timed in 1.12.8kr with Andrea Guzzinati aboard for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire.

The winner won for the 11th time in his career now for 717,400€ earned. Capital Mail (4m Nad El Sheba-Unicona Golden-Varenne) was second for Mario Minopoli Jr and third home was Iway handled by Gp. Minnucci. The well regarded Charmant de Zack finished sixth in this 12 horse field.

On the same card was the Gran Premio Turilli (purse 154,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 starters) with victory to rallying Bleff Dipa (5m Mister JP-Preziosa JW-Lets Go) handled by V.P. Dell’Annunziata and timed in 1.12.7kr. The Holger Ehlert trainee was a two length winner over stablemate pacesetter Zacon Gio (7m Ruty Grif-May Glade Font SM) reined by Roberto Vecchione. Third was Birba Caf (5f Orlando vici-Rutilia Caf) for Vincenzo Luongo. Blackface Bar and Viscarda Jet completed the top five.

On the same card was the Gran Premio Antonio Carena (purse 66,000€, 1640 meters autostart, 12 starters for four year old females) and Crystal Pan (4f Ideal Luis-Reyla-Conway Hall) scored in 1.10.7kr with Enrico Bellei aboard. Some five lengths back was second finishing Cadillac Grif (4f Vivid Wise As-Impact Wise As) handled by Antonio Di Nardo. Third home was Clarissa (4f Exploit Caf-Nikelia) reined by Alessandro Gocciadoro.
