Two 120,000€ Group IIs featured at Vincennes

Two Gr. II monte events highlighted a fine Friday evening card at Paris-Vincennes in France.

In the Entrier 5 Ans Qualifer 3 (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, monte five year olds) the 9/1 odds Hatchet Man (5m Goetmals Wood-Suricate) scored in 1.12.4kr for jockey David Thomain.

This Philippe Allaire trainee is owned by Kevin Tebirent, also the breeder. Hatchet Man now has 10 career wins for 345,650€ earned.

The 7.4/1 Happy and Lucky (5f Ready Cash) was next for Adrien Lamy in the irons for trainer Franck Leblanc. Third home was the 1.1/1 odds favorite Hirondelle du Rib (5f Rolling d’Heripre) for jockey J.L.Cl. Dersoir and trainer Joel Hallais.

In the Entrier 4 Ans Qualifier 3 (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, monte four year olds) the 3.6/1 Indigo du Poret (4m Dollar Macker-Une Pluie du Poret) scored for Eric Raffin, trainer Stephane Cingland and owner Jose Davet timed in 1.13.5kr. This was the winner’s sixth career victory now for 282,630€ earned.

He raced with shoes on to defeat 3.7/1 Ines des Rioults (4f Carat Williams) with Flroian Desmigneux up for trainer J.F. Senet. 11/1 odds Ideal Jibay (4m Real de Lou) was third for J.L.Cl. Dersoir with the 1.3/1 favorite Ici C’est Paris a sluggish fourth.
