3/2 favorite and 25 meter handicapped Valko Jenilat (8m Kepler-Perle du Roc) was a solid second on the inside for driver Eric Raffin, and trainer Sebastien Guarato. 2/1 second choice and 25 meter penalized Bird Parker was third for J.Ph. Monclin, trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Elisabeth Allaire. 13/1 Apollon de Kacy and 31/1 Bahia Quesnot were the next two to the line.
