The winner’s time erased the prior track mark of 1.10.1kr set earlier in batteria three by Vernissage Grif.
The 1.9/1 odds favorite Vernissage Grif took batteria (heat) three of the 74th GP Lotteria at Napoli Agnano (purse of batteria 25,300€, 1600 meters autostart) in 1.10.1kr, which rewrote the track record at the time.
Trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro reined the veteran to a three-length score from post eight over 2.85/1 Bleff Dipa (6m Mister JP-Preziosa JW-Let’s Go) with Roberto Vecchione up for trainer Holger Ehlert. The 26/1 Belzebu’ Jet (6m Wishing Stone-Otero Jet-Pine Chip) took third for Vicenzo Luongo. Callisto (5m Nad Al Sheba) was fourth for V.P. dell’Annunziata with firth to Verdon WF (9m Raja Mirchi) for Andrea Guzzinati.

V.P. dell-Annunziata reined the winner for Team Ciotola. Vivid Wise As (9m Yankee Glide-Temple Blue Chip-Cantab Hall) off at 1.15/1 odds was a game death seat second for Matthieu Abrivard and 11/1 Bythebook (7g Googoo Gaagaa-Stellar Value-Viking Kronos) was third for Alessandro Gocciadoro ahead of Banderas Bi and Achille BLV. Race time was a rated 1.13.1kr.
