The winning team just got up to best front runner 12.1 Paolendry Like (9g Enjoy Lavec-Volteure Bi-Peres Bi) with Marko Slavic driving. 21.3/1 Tars Stars (7m Persugill-Ten Stars Vita-Ata Star L) gained third for driver Janko Sagaj and SLO trainer Igor Sezderac. Favorites in the wagering were next to the line, 1.8/1 Part Two and 2.4/1 Underpaid Hanover, the later starting from post eight.
The undercard was highlighted by a win for 1.9/1 Salt Lake City (7m Detroit-Jolly Beauty-Valley Guardian) in the Amatorverseny Handicap (purse 400,000 Huf, 1800 meters autostart).
Andrea Nagyvary teamed the winner timed in 1.17.8kr, a horse she co-owns and Imre Fazekas trains. At Madinina Martinique racing Saturday included the Prix des Manquiers (purse €6,000, 3800 meters) with the 1.23.1 kr victory on the turf earned by Vlatore des Salines (9g Magnificent Rodney-Griffe des Salines) with Alexandre Faivre driving for owner/trainer J.L. Langeron.
Usly de Visais and Typhon du Plantis were next to the line. Also on the combined trot/gallop card was the Prix de Bananiers (purse €6,000, 3800 meters).
