The race time was 1.13.4kr over the Milano course. He raced barefoot as did the next two finishers Zaccaria Barf (6m Ready Cash-Filanda-Lindy Lane) for Alessandro Gocciadoro and Rushmore Face (8g Joke Face-Ms Stone-Enjoy Lavec). Fourth was Vitruvio (7m Adrian Chip-Tigre AM-Zebu).
The same day, at Caen, was the Gr. III Prix de la Ville de Caen (purse 65,000€, 4400 meters distance handicap, International 5-10 year olds, 18 starters) with victory to the 25-meter handicapped and 4.6/1 odds Fakir du Lorault (6m Vaillant Cash-Native du Lorault) for driver Francois Lecanu and trainer Mickael Charvel. Second home was 9/1 Echo de Chanecy (7g Quinoa du Gers-Nina d’Urzy) for Tony Le Beller. Third was 2/1 odds and 50-meter handicapped Bugsy Malone (10g Ready Cash-Night Captain) with Franck Nivard aboard for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. Bloomer (10g Niky) at 40/1 odds and the 50-meter handicapped Carat Williams at 13/1 odds completed the top five.
Promising two year olds contested the Prix des Primeveres at Caen (purse 19,000€, 2450 meters, two year olds) and victory was earned by 2.6/1 Jamiroquai (2m Charly du Noyer-Deep Purple) handled by Franck Nivard and breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. This was his second win in as many starts now for 13,950€ earned. Jananais (2m Charly du Noyer-This Lovely d’Am) took second for Cedric Buerel, trainer Louis Baudron and owner Mauricette De Sousa. Third was Just One More (2f Goetmals Wood-Encore Plus) handled by Tony Le Beller for trainer J.A. Hernandez-Navarro and owner Jean Pierre Dubois.
