Zente (8f Frullino Jet-Franciska-Witsends Speedy) easily took the Saturday harness racing featured Andy Yankee (purse 600,000Huf, 2400 meters autostart) at Kincsem Park in Hungary.

The winner was handled by amateur reinsman Tamas Tanczer for trainer Zoltan Horvath, his second victory in four 2023 starts and 21st career win in 61 appearances. Race time was 1.18.8kr for the 2,6/1 odds favorite.

Valentino (9f Frullino Jet-Chemise Cobra-Atlas Fighter L) was second for trainer/driver Valentin Miskalcsik. Chip Chip Chip (5m Uclipse Boko) was third for trainer/driver Lajos Martin.

The prior week that I am late in reporting had three great races, two classics. The Janos Brody Memorial (purse 13,050,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap) went to 5.2/1 Unno del Duomo (10m Ganymede-Irma del Duomo-Lemon Dra) with Sandor Kolozsi aboard timed in 1.18.8kr.

The winner of two straight in 2023 overcame a 20-meter handicap to defeat Zlatan LIW (8g Miguel Duhamel) and 2.7/1 Cardenas Baba (5f From Above). The 2022 race winner was 1.16.5kr timed Zona and the fastest race winner Wiss Shadow was clocked in 1.15.9kr in 2016.

The Tavaszi Handicap (purse 1,100,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap) on the same card saw 12/1 Farja BD (6f Andover Hall-Fanciulla-Donerail) win in 1.19.5kr for trainer/driver Laszlo Kolozsi, overcoming a 40-meter penalty. This was her second victory in three starts this year.

Second was 9/1 Sziklaszirt (12f Medic Hanover) for Krisztina Komaromi and 3/1 Che Comandante took third after a 20- meter handicap. Last year Chocolina was a 1.19.9 timed winner and in 2014 Magic Diamond Way won in 1.18.5kr to set this race record.

On this program the Alexander Broidy Memorial (purse 600,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) saw 3.2/1 Coach Degli Dei (5f Brillantissime-Up Foi Axe) win in 1.16.2kr with trainer Goran Zolnaji at the lines. Catinic R (5g One Too Many) was next for Mitja Slavic and 9/1 Beg Ben Fax (6m Iglesias) took third money.
