The Janos Brody Memorial (purse 1,500,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap, 10 starters) was the day’s Kincsem Park featured harness racing event and Zona (7f Offenbach Bigi) scored in 1.16.5kr with trainer Emil Csordas aboard.

Off at 10.5/1 the winner bested 3.1/1 Alfa Boy (6m Racino) and reinsman Csaba Lakatos and third finishing 1.8/1 Zitti Tutti (7f Napoleon) handled by her trainer Veljko Mazsity. The race record is 1.16.1kr set in 2019 by Aileron (7g Scarlet Knight).

Chocolina and driver Tibor Hajnal

The undercard showcased the Travazi Handicap (purse 1,100,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap, nine starters) with that victory to 11.7/1 Chocolina (5f The Bank) timed in 1.19.9kr and reined by her trainer Tibor Hajnal.

This one is from Kentucky Love Song by Valley Victory and the winner is a half-sister to the successful mare Longines. The 4/1 Breeze Up (6f Miguel Duhamel) was second for Laszlo Kolozsi and third home was the 40-meter handicapped and 2.2/1 odds Bonus RG (5g Racino) with Zoltan Vekas at the lines.

The race record for this stake was set in 2014 by 1.18.5kr timed Magic Diamond Way (8m Francis Diamond).

The next classic race at Kincsem Park is the Pulay Kornel Memorial on April 16th.
