Bermuda Pony Club starts 2023 race season

Action resumed in the 2022/23 Harness Pony Racing Season at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street in Bermuda with a full slate of harness racing on November 25.

The opening race of the day in the 1:03.1 & Faster Time Bar Class saw Kirista Rabain in the bike of Simsfield Hard Times clock a winning time of 1:04.1, Maurice Raynor was in the bike of Rockeyed Optimist who finished second with a time of 1:04.4.

The fastest time on the Track on the Day was accomplished by War Machine, clocking a time of 1:01.3, with Philip Correia in the bike.

Kiwon Waldron, who has returned to Bermuda after a very successful season of driving at the Hippodrome 3R in Quebec, had one winner on the race card. Darico Clarke was the only driver with two wins on the day.
