On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

USA REPLAY

CANADIAN REPLAY
Nicholas Barnsdale reported on a sales standout and a winning effort at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Thursday. Sea Glass, a mammoth $420’000 purchase at the Lexington Sale, is now a winner having mastered a field in a time of 1.53.3. The half-sister to Meadowlands Pace champion and millionaire Beach Glass improved to the win after two starts in the year 2024.
AUSTRALIAN REPLAY
Bruce Stewart reported on an Australian triumph in the Auckland Cup on Friday night, and while the feature wasn’t run on Australian soil it was all Aussie Aussie Aussie for connections as Better Eclipse did enough over the concluding stages to upstage his Kiwi rivals. The limited field didn’t stop the action from being engaging with a late sprint down the middle of the track enough to secure a memorable victory in the major pacing feature.
NEW ZEALAND REPLAY
Bruce Stewart was back with more coverage from Alexandra Park on Friday night as an outsider proved too strong for race rivals in the Group One Breckon Farms Northern Trotting Derby. The Tony Herlihy trained runner Inasinglemoment was let go on the tote but that proved no hindrance to the son of What The hill, powering over the top of them over the concluding stages to record a fine victory.
