On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.
In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.
Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 11th December)

AUSTRALIAN FEATURE
Amanda Rando reported on the 2022 Inter Dominion Finals action from Tabcorp Park Melton last Saturday. The surprise packet proved to be I Cast No Shadow who made the most of an economical trip on the pegs to blast through and secure the Pacing Championship. The emergency, Torrid Saint, did the same to run into a minor placing at a huge price! See the concluding stages of the exciting feature below.
NEW ZEALAND FEATURE
Manhattan is a tough horse to get past when she hits the front early and that proved to be the case at Alexandra Park on Friday night with the R Butt trained daughter of Bettor’s Delight holding off her race rivals to secure the Group 3 Caduceus Club Northern Breeders Stakes. Michael Guerin covered the action for Harness Racing New Zealand.
We’ll be back with more replays of the week in seven days time.
