On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.

Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 9th of January)

CANADIAN FEATURE

Nicholas Barnsdale recently reported on the predator that is Shark Week. The son of Veritcal Horizon is making the Preferred Handicap at Century Mile his own of late and he scored another victory in the feature on Saturday the 7th. The win extending a 7 race winning streak. Watch the replay below.

AMERICAN FEATURE

Hellabalou is still churning out the impressive wins. Evan Pattak recently covered a Meadows victory that proved the son of Sweet Lou hasn’t lost any of his racing winning qualities. You can watch the 1:50.1 Open Handicap Pace win here.

NEW ZEALAND FEATURE

Brad Reid recently reported on a strong showing out on the track for broodmare Supreme Gem with the mare producing no less than 3 winners over the last 8 days. The last of these victories coming at Banks Peninsula on Sunday when Topaz proved too strong late over a standing start 2170m distance race. We always like showcasing the grass track racing here in New Zealand and you can watch the action below.

Harnesslink will be back with more content and replays in seven days time.
