On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.
In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.
Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 23rd of January)
NORTH AMERICAN FEATURE
The big Kiwi import Nandolo N led the sub 1.50 charge in 2023 when he posted a big win at The Meadowlands on Sunday night. The 1:48.3 effort from off the speed was enough to capture the Preferred for pacers. Watch the replay below.
AUSTRALIAN FEATURE
We don’t often cover the Western Australian scene but the story behind the recent Busselton Cup caught our attention. Ashleigh Paikos reported for RWWA as the Woodworth family and Hi Tommy secured another famous victory in the Cup. Watch the close finish below.
NEW ZEALAND FEATURE
The Dunn team were at it again at Marlborough oVEr the weekend, bringing up a Marlborough Cup Prelude and Cup double with different horses. On Friday it was Dashing Major getting over the top of them, on Sunday Sams Town proved too strong from the front of the field. You can watch the grass track feature below.
We’ll be back in seven days time with more race replays of the week
