On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.
In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.
Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 9th of April)
AMERICAN FEATURE
Steve Wolf reported on The Meadowlands card on Saturday with Nicholas Beach returning a strong winner of their Open Handicap Pace. The 1:50 effort proved enough to see off the closing Burnham Boy N.
CANADIAN FEATURE
Outlaw C My Shadow is now unbeaten in his last 10 starts after a victory at Fraser Downs on Friday. Nicholas Barnsdale reported on his latest romp last week when he went 1:51.4 to win by over 4 lengths.
NEW ZEALAND FEATURE
Anything Goes provided what was something of an upset in the Addington feature the Coca Cola Superstars on Saturday. The Steve Doland trained runner sat three pegs for the trip and made the most of the cold sit, making good strides up the passing lane to best Beach Ball and The Falcon. Michael Guerin reported on the win for HRNZ.
We’ll be back in seven days time with more race replays of the week
