Race replays of the week

On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 9th of April)

AMERICAN FEATURE

The Borgata Series Final took place last week with a big upset with Hellabalou blasting them out at around 47/1. The 1:50.3 effort enough to see off a fast finishing Leonidas A and Covered Bridge. Watch the action below.

CANADIAN FEATURE 

Ace Barnsdale reported on the action out of Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday with So Much More  once again proving too strong in their Preferred-2 Pace. The win was the 62nd of his glistening career in which he’s won over 1.3 million in earnings. Replay below.

NEW ZEALAND FEATURE

The Peter Breckon Memorial Trot took place on Friday night at Alexandra Park with Muscle Mountain proving too strong for a strong enough field. The last furlong wasn’t without some nervous times for favorite backers though with outsider Resolve putting in a drive to seemingly threaten the champion late. Watch the replay below.
