On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.
In Harnesslink Race Replays Of The Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.
Here’s our latest offering from the last seven days (week ended 29th of May)
AMERICAN FEATURE
Hillexotic made all the right moves to score an impressive record-breaking win in the Maxie Lee Memorial Invitational for older trotters at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Sunday. Ken Weingartner reported on the romp for USTA. You can watch the race replay below.
CANADIAN FEATURE

NEW ZEALAND FEATURE
It’s one of the biggest trotting race on New Zealand soil – it also saw a upset this time around. The rowe Cup was run at Alexandra Park last week with Love N The Port caputring the title in fine style. Muscle Mountain, race favourite, broke early and had to work too hard in the running to feature. Bruce Stewart reported on the feature.
EUROPEAN FEATURE
The Sweden Cup saw a magic performance from Bengurion Jet . The horse, almost last rounding the final bend, found his jet speed late to claim a rousing victory down the outer of the track. Thomas H Hicks reported on the feature for Harnesslink.com
We’ll be back in seven with more race replays of the week.
