On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

AMERICAN FEATURE

Steve Wolf reported on some of the hot Meadowlands action on Saturday. Among the numerous lifetime marks posted was a great performance by Mad Max Hanover who posted a sizzling 1:47.4 in Graduate Pacing Series racing. Watch the replay below.

It’s always nice to hear of a return to the winning photo for a participant who has endured a dry spell. Nicholas Barnsdale reported on one such effort when Watch Me Dance won at Georgian Downs on Saturday. The victory broke a 19-month run of running behind race rivals. Watch the replay below
