On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

AMERICAN REPLAY
Garnet Barnsdale reported on the feature $260,000 Jim Ewart Memorial at Scioto Downs on Saturday night. The competitive race saw Tattoo Artist prove too strong after a great Canadian Pacing Derby outing last week. The 1:48.2 win proved enough to see off Backstreet Shadow and Charlie May
CANADIAN REPLAY
Nicholas Barnsdale reported on a strong showing from the class Gias Surreal at Grand River Raceway on Friday. The daughter of So Surreal mastering a number of race rivals late to take the win in a slick 1:53.4. Voelz Delight and Major League N made up the trifecta.
AUSTRALIAN REPLAY
John Dunne reported on some of the Vicbred Super Series Semi Final night action at Melton last week. The night proving a benefit for those prepared out of the Emma Stewart barn. Amore Vita just won of the stars to salute in fine style. You can watch her 1:54.8.mile rate victory below.
