On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

AMERICAN REPLAY
Garnet Barnsdale reported on the feature $420,000 Peter Haughton Memorial for two-year-old colt and gelding trotters at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday night. The feature was all too easy for the impressive T C I. The son of Cantab Hall scoring effortlessly to take out the major prize. The 1.54.2 enough to score by a comfortable length over Amazing Catch.
CANADIAN REPLAY
Nicholas Barnsdale covered some of the Elegantimage elimination racing out of Woodbine Mohawk Park last week. One of those to impress was Bond who scored a nice win in 1.52.1 The result being a close call given the efforts of race rivals late. Watch the effort below.

John Dunne reported on some of the Vicbred Super Series action from Melton last week. Susan Is Her Name is certainly a name to remember after her win in the Group 1 Vicbred Super Series (3YO Trotting Fillies) Final. You can watch her fine display below.
