On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

AMERICAN REPLAY
Garnet Barnsdale reported on the feature Potomac Pace last week. Bythemissal proved too strong in the Rosecroft Raceway event winning well in 1:48.0 for the new track record.
CANADIAN REPLAY
Nicholas Barnsdale covered a strong winning effort from Samba Beat at Century Mile last week. The win representing an aged pacing stallion track record at the track. Watch the smart victory below.
NEW ZEALAND REPLAY
The NZ Cup, the biggest pacing race on New Zealand soil, took place on Tuesday with Swayzee, an Aussie raider, simply proving too tough for the Kiwis. A mid-race move to the front decided the event with Akuta unable to muster enough late to master the visitor.
