On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.
In Harnesslink Race Replays of the Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.

CANADIAN REPLAY
Nicholas Barnsdale reported on the rich $150,000 Ontario Sires Stake Gold Mid-Season Final for two-year-old pacing fillies on Thursday with Chantilly (Big Jim) coming away the impressive victor of the feature event. A smart 1.51.2 time meaning Chantilly was in a class of her own in the run to the winning post. Wickedpace was three-and-three-quarter lengths behind in second while Macapelo Seelster (Tyler Borth) was third.
The filly has now earned $132’000 in career stakes.
NEW ZEALAND REPLAY
Brad Reid covered some of the exciting action out of Alexandra Park on Friday night, among those to impress was the Purdon / Phelan trained Jeremiah. The Listed $200,000 NZB Harness Million Final placegetter proving too strong for a competitive field from the front of the race. He’ll certainly be one to watch in the coming weeks and months ahead as he’s a proven juvenile with some big targets ahead of him.
