On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

NEW ZEALAND REPLAY
It was another night of feature racing on Friday with some great pacing and trotting events taking place at Addington. One of the most impressive victories on the card was covered by Bruce Stewart who covered the running of the New Zealand Oaks. The race proved a great watch with Duchess Megxit returning to the top of the class after being defeating during NZ Cup week in early November. CANADIAN REPLAY
Nicholas Barnsdale reported on a return to that winning feeling for Carl Dawson on Thursday when Country Moose prevailed at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The victory was the first in some 4 years for the trainer. The 1.56.1 produced by Country Moose was too strong for Diamond Ryder and Steelwheel Hanover who rounded off the top three placings.
AUSTRALIAN REPLAY
The 1st round of Inter Dominion heats took place at Newcastle on the 29th with Tony Milanese reporting on the form of Queen Elida. The star mare once again proved why she’s regarding as one of the best Australasia has seen for some time when she effortlessly accounted for her race rivals in one of the heats of the trotting championship.
