Arqana-Trot hosted its Vente d’Ete and Cabourg harness racing summer sale Friday (June 28) and results improved from 2023 due to a pair to real toppers. There were 158 lots catalogued with 106 sold for gross sales of 2,173,000€ versus 1,386,500€ last year when 98 lots were sold.
This year the toppers were both at 300,000€ and they were lot 45 Kaviarissime (4m Love You-Elegantissime) that Philippe Allaiire sold, and Christophe Bridault bought. This horse has made 22 starts with four wins and 14 placings for 165,770€ earned. His fastest clocking is 1.11.0kr,
The other 300,000€ lot was number 53A Kapitano de Source (4m Ready Cash-Varina) that SAS Trotting Bloodstock acquired from Ecurie Hunter Valley. He has made 17 starts with six wins and four placings good for 182,650€ earned along with a 1.12.0kr fastest clocking, He won the Gr, III Yearling Cup at Enghien over 2700 meters in 1.14.2kr.
Bringing 100,000€ was lot 40 My Way Delo (2f Ready Cash-Etincelle Delo) that Gaetano Pezone acquired. This one qualified at Caen in 1.17.4kr.
Jean Pierre Dubois was back on the scene acquiring lot 101 Encore A Deux (10f Sam Bourbon-Nine Mandrik) for 48,000€, she in foal to the young stallion Fabulous Wood.
