Rock N Roll Doo (Rock N Roll Heaven) produced a scintillating sprint to win the $100,000 VHRC Classic at Melton. He has showed immense ability throughout his harness racing career, and it all came together for him on Saturday night (Sep. 10).
He finished the race off strongly to win in 1:50.6.
In doing so he became the 19th Group 1 winner for his sire.
Rock N Roll Doo is owned by Brendan and Anne James and trained/driven by Michael Stanley.
His record is now taken to 27-10-5-2 and earnings of $178,550.
Bred by Kelvin Home Holdings, he is out of the In The Pocket mare Long Live Lana.
Rock N Roll Heaven is consistently one of the leading Australian stallions and is available this season for $7,000 (incl GST) in Australia and $6,500 (plus GST) in New Zealand.
