2022 National Standardbred Yearling Sale – Christchurch day two starting soon.

Day two of the 2022 National Standardbred Yearling Sale for the harness racing pacing breds is starting soon with lot-by-lot footage to be beamed to viewers LIVE on Freeview Channel 200, nzbstandardbred.co.nz and the NZB Standardbred Facebook page.

Presenter Greg O’Conner will bring key Sale highlights, as well as an insight into what’s to come over the next two days of selling during the Preview Show, airing at 12:30PM (NZT).

Buyers will also have the opportunity to secure top-class yearlings from blue-blooded families, with a number of siblings to Group One winners and progeny from Group One-winning dams.

• Lot 229 is a half-sister to Group One-winning two-year-old and NZB Standardbred Harness Million Series winner Akuta (NZ) (Bettor’s Delight). This filly is by Always B Miki out of Christian Cullen mare Adore To Our Dreams(NZ) and is offered on account of P. I. & P. M. Renwick Farm.
• Lot 261 is a full sister to NZB Standardbred’s poster boy, multiple Group One winner Krug (NZ) (Bettor’s Delight). The filly is out of Group Two winner Champagne Princess(NZ) (Soky’s Atom) and will be offered by Smolenski Stables.

Purchase a Bettor’s Delight half sister to the mighty 1-46.4 winning mare Shartin Lot 242 or buy into the very successful “Mighty Flying” family Lot 291. This colt is by Sweet Lou out of Fleet’s Pocket a producer of foals that have won more than 115 races between them. Of thirteen foals to race, twelve have been winners.

Auction starts today with Lot 206 at 1:00pm, Lot 235 2:00pm, Lot 265 3:00pm, Lot 295 4:00pm and Lot 310 4:30pm.
