$55,000 for Top Lot at weanling sale

One hundred and fourteen harness racing lots went up for auction today at the 2022 National Weanling Sale held at Karaka in Auckland.

Top sale price went to Lot 92 Captain Crunch – Princess Arts a bay filly offered by Alabar, who sold to Stonewall Stud from Auckland for $55,000.

As well as the top lot, Stonewall Stud ended up purchasing 9 lots for a total of $271,000 including the second highest Lot 89 Captain Crunch – Presidential Affair ($46,000). a bay colt offered by Alabar.
