Harness racing hits Addington again on Show day Friday Nov 17 for another big day of racing. The racing starts at 12:02pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

1. Bonnie Bagrie Has some gate speed and distance will suit. Good chance from the draw
2. Bennie And The Jets Ok last start and should race handy to the speed. Place hope in this
3. Fiery Bandito Inexperienced trotter helped by the mobile here. Will need the perfect trip to win
4. What The Bell Handy second on Cup Day and he might lead here again. Good chance of placing
5. Buffy Northstains Speedy mare who is a chance if she can find the front early. Not the worst
6. Westar Milly Money has been on in her last couple but not showing enough. Upset chance at best
7. Helloveamoment Wide draw but he can lob up occasionally. Others preferred from the wide draw
8. Emily Normally close to the placings but this field is stronger than usual. Risking from the draw
9. Mr Love Huge finish to win last start but manners will be the key. Winning claims again if he trots

10. Sally Lindenny Doesn’t mind the mobile and fence run suits but others look better. Might struggle
11. Izia Top driver on and stable going ok but strong field here. Prepared to leave out in this
12. Sunny Louis He has ability when right and placing on Cup Day was good. Rough place
13. Sunnys Sister Good win last start and might improve further. Trainer will have her ready. Include
14. Aroha Kenny Speedy trotting filly who looks capable of winning this. Will be running on. Needed
Race Notes: Even field of trotters to start the day. Smart fillies Aroha Kenny and Sunnys Sister drawn the second row will need luck and likely leader What The Bell hard to run down in front. Bonnie Bagrie, Mr Love, Buffy Northstains and Sunny Louis best of the rest.
Race 2 12:30pm MACCA LODGE ‘SOUTH OF THE WAITAKI’ MOBILE PACE $30,000, 3YO & OLDER UP TO & INCLUDING R60, 2600m
1. Taxman Has gate speed but tough field here and pace will be on all the way. Risking.
2. Wavewatcher Up in grade and might find these a bit too fast. Prepared to leave out
3. Rise Up N Dance Unlucky Cup Day and gets in to this field well. Looks hard to beat
4. Coaster Will head forward early and top driver booked. Has to be respected in this field
5. Still Rockin Tough one paced type who will appreciate a strong pace. Outside place hope at best
6. Aint No Angel Out of form and not sure the distance will suit. At her best she could run top three
7. Mr Cash Man Has been running on in his races but tricky draw for this. Top four chance at best
8. Da Vinci Has gate speed to burn and drops in class for this. Looks one of the better chances.Needed
9. Step It Up A Notch Will appreciate the conditions of this race. Will need luck but has claims

10. Wattlebank Arnie Strikes an ok draw and has the ability, Will be relying on luck in the running
Race Notes: Da Vinci and Rise Up N Dance the best two chances on ability, with Wattlebank Arnie, Step It Up A Notch and Coaster all capable on their day.
Race 3 1:02pm THE PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT MOOLOOLABA MOBILE PACE $30,000, 3YO & OLDER R44 TO R47, R48 WITH COND., 1980m
1. Tabasco Freshened and gets in here from a good draw. Can go close at nice odds here
2. What A Minx Outclassed on Cup Day in a record run race. Better suited here and can place
3. He’s Tough Got checked last start and has gate speed. Top four chance if can lead early
4. Krystal Delight At her best could threaten a place in this field. Preferring to risk her today
5. Maria Allegonda Has had a slight freshen up. Not the worst but strong field here. Place only
6. Bettor Lover Likes it here but drawn wide. Will need all favours to win this. Outside place hope
7. Tempo Warrior Ok last start and fast beginner from the mobile. Upset place chance at best
8. Amore Infida Running on in a strong field Cup Day. Can go close to winning from the tricky draw
9. Point Break Freshened for this but terrible draw. Others look better and prepared to risk

10. Borrisokane Checked out it on Tuesday Draw suits and can run top three with gaps in the straight
11. Cee Who’s Bettor Never far away and will be at peak fitness for this. Top four chance with luck
12. Millwood Indie Capable of running a quick time but drawn badly. Outside place chance at best
13. Joan’s Rising Star Draw hurts and facing an uphill battle from there. Prepared to leave out
14. Judgement Bay This field looks too strong for her and prepared to leave out today. Risking
Race Notes: Amore Infida looks a good chance on her run on Tuesday and she is improving. Tabasco, Borrisokane, What A Minx and Millwood Indie all chances in an what is an even field.
Race 4 1:37pm BRAXTON FARRIERS MOBILE TROT $30,000, 3YO & OLDER R53 TO R60, 1980m
1. The Ivy League Drawn well with top driver booked. Can run in the top four if he trails
2. Blithe Ok last start but strong field here. Top four chance with her best effort
3. Idle Stuartia One paced and might struggle against some of these. Prefer to bet against today
4. Maui Only battled last start but the distance suits here. Can improve and one for longer odds
5. Zsa Zoe Good run for second on Tuesday. Should back up ok and can place again here
6. Krackaling Would need to begin and run to the front to be a chance. Good chance of doing that
7. Prince Teka Likely to head to the front but might be stopping on the turn. Top four at best
8. Masterly Galloped last start but mobile will suit and he is improving. Can run top three here
9. T K Megastar Wide draw makes it tricky. Will need a good cart up during the running to figure

10. It’s So Easy No chance on Tuesday after dropping out. Drawn better but hard to see winning
11. Cormoran Strike Running on well on Cup day. Drawn ok and has to be respected. Include
12. Magic Dash Distance suits and with the right run should be there abouts at the finish.
13. Shez Bella Has a big motor and is capable of beating these with a good run in transit. Needed
14. Whats Wanted Good finish last start and will be improved. No surprise to see him run top three
Race Notes: Masterly and Shez Bella look good chances from behind the mobile. Hardest for them to beat are The Ivy League, Cormoran Strike Magic Dash and Maui.
Race 5 2:12pm GRAPHITE DEVELOPMENTS LTD MOBILE PACE $30,000, R48 TO R53, R54 WITH COND., 1980m
1. Tokyo Rose Scratched
2. Watch That Man This field looks a bit too strong for him and prepared to leave out today
3. Defy Me Has stepped up to this class in style. Will be there abouts at the finish if he can lead
4. We Walk By Faith Good second last start and has the speed to race handy. Top selection
5. Donegal Luther Strong placing last start after working hard, but big rise in class. Risking today
6. Mandalay Bay Only battled last start after racing greenly. Chance to go forward and dominate
7. Carrera Rapido Attacked in front last start in a good field. Has speed but wide draw a concern
8. Casino Action Gets another wide draw. Chance if he leads but will struggle if he goes back
9. Tide And Time In good form and gate flyer. Chance if he goes forward early and runs time

10. Dance With The Boss Big win at Rangiora and drawn for a pegs run. Top three chance with gaps
11. Betting Sensation Up in grade for this and prepared to leave out of combinations today
12. Commander Ben Good win last start but will have to loop the field here to win. Risking today
13. Blue Rock Dancer In good form but hard to see him getting into it from the draw. Rough chance
14. Fernetti Big second here on Tuesday. Tricky draw but could run into the placings with luck
Race Notes: We Walk By Faith looks the winner on his Cup Day run. Tokyo Rose, Fernetti, Mandalay Bay ,Carrera Rapido. Hardest to beat. Casino Action and Tide And Time could light it up from out wide.
Race 6 2:47pm XCM SPORT HANDICAP TROT $30,000, 3YO & OLDER R58 & FASTER DISCRETIONARY, 2600m
1. The Bloss Scratched
2. Willangus Lad Did too much work on Tuesday and dropped out. Prepared to risk in this field
3. Greenbank Don In good form previously but this field looks too strong. Might be outclassed here
4. Royal Del Only battled here on Tuesday. This field looks harder and prepared to risk again
5. Eurostyle Good win in a similar grade last start. Would need to find a few lengths here to repeat
6. Missalyssa Battled over 3200m on Tuesday. Big motor and has place claims in this if improved
7. Tu Tangata Has been running good races and best chance is to head forward early. Can go close
8. Confessional Another who likes to race from the front. Place chance if he gets around safely.
9. Cody Banner Easy win on Tuesday but they walked the last 800m. This is harder but could surprise
10. Delson Coming in fresh to a strong field. Will need a miracle to get into the placings here
11. Domination’s Call Battled on last start in a similar field. Hard to see him improving enough to win
12. Galway Girl Looked likely but broke on Tuesday. Looking for luck in the running but has the ability
13. Unico Vacanza Nice form and will not need much improvement to go close again here. Needed
14. Andy Hall Managed to work hard and still place on Cup Day. Has to be respected again here
Race Notes: Unico Vacanza hard to beat on his Cup Day run with Galway Girl, Andy Hall, Tu Tangata and Confessional the main dangers
Race 7 3:21pm DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS SIRES’ STAKES SERIES FINAL (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1) $140,000, 2YO FILLIES, 1980m
1. Our Shangri Lana Should get a good run in the trail here and not the worst at longer odds
2. Coastal Babe Good draw and looks the early leader. Will be hard to run down in this
3. Anytime At All Has not featured against the best fillies and hard to see her beating these. Risking
4. Raknruin Southern visitor who looks outclassed in this. Prepared to leave out of selections here
5. Treacherous Baby Good win last start and stable runner kicking goals. Good chance in this
6. Ultimate Racy Girl Ok last start in a similar field. Better draw and can run top three again here
7. Treacherous Love Wide draw but has a decent motor. Outisde place chance if she goes forward
8. Kiss Draw hurts but a good filly. Will need all favours from the outside barrier and might struggle

9. Melody Banner Will get a good run on the pegs and could sneak into the top four with luck
10. Madrid Could be following out the early leader and has a top four chance with luck
11. Miki’s Beauty Draw hurts and will need to find several lengths to trouble this field. Risking
12. Follow Your Dream Badly drawn and hard to see her getting into the race. Risking here
13. Waterfront Bad draw and faces a big test here. Will need the pace on and a cart into it to place
Race Notes: Coastal Babe could be the early leader here and hard to beat if she tries for an all the way win. Our Shangri Lana, Ultimate Racy Girl, Treacherous Baby and Melody Banner hardest to beat
Race 8 3:54pm BOB McARDLE SIRES’ STAKES SOUTHERN MARES CLASSIC (MOB PACE) (Listed) $50,000, 4YO & OLDER MARES UP TO & INCLUDING R85 MOBILE, 1980m
1. Sophia Bromac Off the unruly and racing well but some here look better. Rough place chance
2. Fernleigh Blackbird Running on last start and has gate speed. Place hope at longer odds
3. Dance Till Dawn Disappointed last start but has run time in similar fields. Could surprise
4. Kikorangi Blue Usually begins ok and another who could run top three with the right trip
5. Tayla Me Out of form but if he brings her A-game then she could surprise. One for odds
6. Insarchatwist Has run some cheeky races in the south but this looks too strong for her. Risking
7. Better’s Tart Likes the track and comes right at this time of the year. Top three chance here
8. Lifes A Beach Running good races and the sprint trip ideal. Winning claims again here
9. Manhattan Might head forward early and has been trialling well. Top selection in this
Race Notes: Manhattan on her best day and recent trial form should go forward early and dominate this race. Lifes A Beach, Dance Till Dawn, Kikorangi Blue and Bettor’s Tart look main dangers. Money coming for Tayla Me as well
Race 9 4:23pm RENWICK FARMS DOMINION (STAND TROT) (Gr1) $300,000, FFA, 3200m
1. Tu Tangata (E1) Racing well but may not get a start here. Pushed to run a place if he does
2. Smokin Bandar Getting better with racing and drawn to be a threat. Good top four chance
3. Harold Smith Strong field here but he is in form and distance will suit. Outside top three chance
4. Mystic Max Not sure the distance will suit but he has performed ok in this grade. Risking today
5. Bolt For Brilliance Good last start and big motor. Distance suits and he can win with luck
6. Majestic Man Disappointing last start but trainer happy with him. One for longer odds for a place
7. Time Up The Hill Wide draw but does have finishing speed. Will need all favours to figure here
8. Midnight Dash Badly drawn and hard to see him getting into the race. Risking here
9. Eurokash Tricky draw and he could get pushed back here. Distance suits but hard to see winning
10. Love N The Port Has the ability and big win on Cup Day. Normally holds form and can go close
11. I Dream Of Jeannie Ok last start but will have to work mid race. Others here are better
12. Oscar Bonavena Big finisher with the right trip. Will need luck but has winning claims
13. Resolve Badly drawn and hard to see her getting into the race. Big odds available for her here
14. Outamyway Another dealt a bad hand with the draws. Tough stayer but prepared to leave out
15. Muscle Mountain Tricky draw and will have to loop the field at some stage. Can still win this
16 Jimmy Carter Manners not good and hard to see him getting into the placings. Risking
Race Notes: The three big guns Muscle Mountain, Bolt For Brilliance and Oscar Bonavena should dominate but Love N The Port a chance on his Cup Day run. Smokin Bandar also going well.
Race 10 4:53pm ADVANCED JOINERY MOBILE PACE $30,000, 3YO & OLDER R54 TO R61, R62 WITH COND., 1980m
1. Major Torque Has run some good races on the track and draw upgrade. Place chance at his best
2. Willison Good draw and could race handy here. Can tough it out but hard to see winning this
3. Jack Tar Has the draw and can run a quick half when right. Needs luck but not the worst
4. McCrikey Quick beginner who should lead early. Can stick on for a place at his best. Include
5. Winnyzback Good southern form but this is harder. Top driver booked and he can improve for this
6. Evangalist Better draw but might struggle against some of these. If she can lead she is a chance
7. Smoke On The Water Good fifth on Tuesday. Wide draw but he can do some work and stick on
8. Mon Lancome Scratched
9. Triple G Getting better with racing and looked a bit unlucky on Tuesday. Wide draw but needed

10. Charlie Brown Good win last start and fence draw might end up ok. Stablemates might be better.
11. Dalton Shard Good second on Cup Day and drawn to get a run through early. Can run top three
12. The Coalman Draw hurts and he will get back again here. Upset chance if he gets a cart into it
13. He’s A Meister Racing well down south but hard to see him getting into the race here. Risking
14. Watermelon Sugar Looked likely but came to the end of it on Cup Day. Might be improved
Race Notes: Triple G hard to beat on what looks like an easier field here. Stable mates Dalton Shard and Charlie Brown dangers along with Smoke On The Water and Major Torque
Race 11 Race 5:22pm AIRPARK CANTERBURY NZ PACING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE PACE) (Gr1) $200,000, FFA, 1980m
1. Akuta Good beginner and should race in the lead here. Should run first or second
2. Pembrook Playboy Scratched
3. Beach Ball Drawn to be a major player in the race. Will not be far away at the finish
4. Swayzee Scratched
5. Heza Sport All depends on the start but no doubting the speed. Has gate speed and could surprise
6. Smiffy’s Terror Drawn well and has been near enough recently but hard to see him placing here.
7. Got You Covered Out of form and will need a miracle to win this. Prepared to leave out completely
8. Republican Party Wide draw hurts and speed will be on up front. Place chance with luck in running
9. Self Assured Freshened but well down on best form. Has the speed but only a rough chance in this

1. Deny Everything Draw suits and should get a good run handy on the pegs. Place hope with luck
2. Here’s Herbie Not far away on Cup Day. Will need a good run but chance at longer odds

5. Who’s Delight Good beginner who is a big chance if he can lead and run along. Winning claims
