In 2022 Stonewall Stud purchased four high priced yearlings at harness racing’s NZB Standardbred Sales in Christchurch and all four have now won races.
Built For Glory (Bettor’s Delight), Kashkeeper (Bettor’s Delight), Double Jeopardy (Captaintreacherous) have all won races. At Addington tonight it was Adored Dreamer’s (Always B Miki) turn.
ADORED DREAMER REPLAY
Stonewall has got a way to go to recoup their outlay, but you can sense the potential is sitting there still untapped.
Adored Dreamer was left parked and that was a concern for driver Tim Williams.
“It wasn’t ideal and she started kicking the wheels when we hit the first bend. She got a wee bit unsettled so I thought it was the best place to be out of trouble,” Williams told Nigel Armstrong from Harness Racing Unhinged.
At the end of the 1980 metre trip Adored Dreamer appeared to find another gear and her winning margin was three lengths from Louretta.
Williams says the early Nevele R Fillies heats could be on the schedule for Adored Dreamer who’s a half-sister to Cup Class pacer Akuta (Bettor’s Delight).
