Edendale trainer Alex Milne has a good record on the Wingatui grass surface, and he has seven runners down to race at tomorrow’s harness racing meeting.
In Race Two Alex lines up Lottie’s Luck (Washington VC). The four year old mares been solid, and she gets a nice draw at four. This will be her first start on the grass.
First starter Heza Good Sport (Sportswriter) gets his chance from barrier three. He’s a half-brother to the well preformed Wrecking Ball.
In Race Four Milne starts three year old trotting filly Ah Dinnae Ken (Majestic Son). She’s won once in fifteen starts and this will be her first start on the grass.
In Race Five Milne has three runners Matai Harry (Terror To Love), Paradise Valley (Tintin In America) and La Moth (Betterthancheaddar).
Matai Harry draws the best at three and his only win in nine start was on the grass.
Paradise Valley returns to racing after a break.
La Moth has the best form line of the trio and has placed on this track in her only start.
The Milnes colours feature in Race Six with Highlight starting in the two year old and older trot. She has broken in all of her five starts.
