These days there is hardly a harness racing yearling sale that goes bye without the All Stars principals Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen and their big team of owners playing a major role in proceedings.
Yesterday at Karaka, Mark brought five lots including the two most expensive lots of the day.
Mark went to $200,000 for the three quarter brother to Adore Me and Have Faith In Me and went back to the well later in the day and paid $180,000 for the full brother to the same two horses.
It was a bit of a break from tradition for Mark who is not renown for chasing yearlings much past the $100,000 mark but with him having trained a lot of the star horses close up in both yearlings pedigree, that probably swayed him on this occasion.
While Mark was doing his thing, a lot of his owners were also buying up and most of those purchases will be heading to the All Stars barn at Rolleston.
All up there was another eight lots purchased by his owners and we have listed them all below along with the yearlings Mark brought.
