The elite harness racing sire Mach Three had another one of his North American offspring pass the $1,000,000 mark in earnings today when Camaes Fellow was successful at Woodbine in Canada in 1:52.4
The seven year old gelding was saluting the judge for the 33rd time in his career and by doing so became Mach Three's fourth millionaire in North America.
Camaes Fellow 1:47.3 ($1,005,690) joins Somebeachsomewhere 1:46.4 ($3,328,755), Monkey On My Wheel 1:49.3 ($1,695,634) and Mach It So 1:48 ($1,112,121) as Mach Three progeny in the seven figure club.
Mach Three has been having a great season in North America where he currently sits fourth on the all age list with over $11,000,000 in earnings, a couple of hundred thousand behind his son Somebeachsomewhere who sits third.
Two of his better performers in 2015 have been the three year old fillies Solar Sister and Wrangler Magic.
Solar Sister 1:50.3 who won her heat of the Breeders Crown last weekend has won $507,494 this season at three and $722,322 lifetime while Wrangler Magic has won $574,465 this season and $737,040 lifetime.
Both look odds on to become millionaires in the next twelve months the way they have raced at two and three.
Mach Three of course also has three millionaires in the Southern Hemisphere headed by the brilliant Auckland Reactor 1:51.4 ($1,837,042) who has served huge books of over 350 mares in his first two years at stud in Australasia.
Other millionaires down under include the New Zealand bred Mysta Magical Mach 1:52.2 ($1,261,371) who did most of his racing in Australia while the lone Australian millionaire to date is the former star juvenile Captain Joy 1:51.4 ($1,004,771).
Mach Three is continuing to be well supported in both hemispheres with his New Zealand book for the 2015/16 season nearly full and it wouldn't be a surprise if there were a few more millionaires by Mach Three in the pipeline.
