Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5:57pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Hughie Wallace (5) Building up a good form-line and stepping ok recently. Needed here
Ultimate Moment (6) Begins well and likely to receive a good run. Can run top three
Shesgold (4) Held up at a vital time last start and not the worst. One for longer odds

Race 2

Miki Montana (6) Impressive run for second last start and fitter for this. Hard to beat
Sharkies Girl (1) Has been disappointing but has been freshened. Winning claims from the draw
Mahia Dreamin (8) Wide draw to contend with but in top form. Can surprise with the right trip

Race 3

Rosie (6) Has won most of her races from the front. Fast beginner and hard to beat.
Escape The Pace (2) Ok last start and gets a head-start on most of the field. Needed
Liaison (3) Coming in better for last start run. Usually a quick beginner who has place claims

Race 4

Seaclusion (2) Gate speed and a tidy draw. Has to rate highly after last start effort
Who’s Delight (8) Found a couple too good last start but weaker field here. Can run top three
Jethro Bodine (7) Ran a tidy second here last start and will be improved. Winning claims

Race 5

Advance Party (2) Good draw and stacks of speed. Looks hard to beat in this field if fully fit
Hail Lucius (4) Good finishing speed and could be the blowout in this. Include at longer odds
Mr Kaplan (5) Tidy finish in a similar field for second last start. Winning claims here

Race 6

Chimichurri (5) Got the win last start and will run a quick mile. Big chance if he can lead
Bach (3) Goes best from the front and drawn to be a threat. One of the major players here
Smiffy’s Terror (8) Tricky draw but has been racing tough fields. Needs luck but has claims

Race 7

The Notorious R B G (4) Fresh up after a spell but did well last campaign. Hard to beat
Jolimont (2) Finished on in a hot field last start. Drawn to lead or trail. Needed
D J Rock (3) Big motor but still green. Top three chance if he brings his manners

Race 8

Romeo Foxtrot (7) Was strong when running third last start. Hard to beat with no mistakes
Bun In The Oven (2) Good draw and racing ok. Could surprise with the right run in transit
Alana (3) Goes her best races on this track. Can run a cheeky race with luck in the running
