Bets of the week – May 7th 2015

Last week our harness racing tipsters started to hit a bit of form with eight selecting winners and another six placegetters as well.

Maurice McKendry provided the most value yet again and he was joined in the winners circle by Todd Mitchell,John Dunn, Bob Butt, Tim Williams, Scott Phelan, Blair Orange and John Curtin.

Two of the placegetters worthy of mention were Brendon McLellan whose tip Continental Boy paid $5:80 for third and Steve Richardson whose tip The Edge Of Reason paid $4:90 when running third.

This week we have five meetings across New Zealand and we have selections for them all.

Cambridge – Thursday night

Geoff Small – Thought the smart 3 year old Major Change could win again in race 2

Tony Herlihy – Gives stable runner Mighty Regal a big chance of clearing maidens in race 9

Auckland – Friday night

Todd Mitchell – Rates Cyclone Kate as the horse they have to beat in race 5 

Todd Macfarlane – Thinks Millview Sienna can make it two from two, also in race 5

Steven Reid – Thought Unforgiving was close to her best and would win,also in race 5 

John Dunn – Bullish about the chances of All Royal Gal making it three in a row in race 7

Forbury Park – Friday night

Nathan Williamson – Gives Poppymalda a big chance of making it two in a row in race 3

Brendon McLellan -Thinks Sammy The Bull was overdue a win and it would come in race 5

Terry Chmiel – Reckons Macy Blue Chip can bounce back this week, also in race 5

John Curtin – Can't see how they can beat Mach Time in race 10

Addington – Saturday afternoon

Scott Phelan – Very bullish about the chances of Better B Amazed in race 1

Bob Butt – Reckons Conon Bridge will be very hard to hold out in race 3

Brad Williamson – Thought off the front mark that Father Chrismas could win race 6

Blair Orange – Thinks Eyre I Come can return to the winners circle, also in race 6

Ricky May – Very bullish about the chances of Dalton Bromac in race 7
