Prepare for a new harness racing partnership of Hayden Cullen and Mark Purdon that will start on 1st October 2021.
An email to clients of Amanda and Hayden Cullen at Cullen Racing stables was sent out this morning stating “A decision has been made that from the 1st October 2021 a new Training Partnership of Mark Purdon and Hayden Cullen will commence”
“We canāt thank each and every owner enough for your support, both immediately and ongoing, and to be entrusted with the training and care of some of the best horses in Australasia. We look forward to our continued association with the team here at Rolleston.”
Hayden Cullen has trained the winners of 54 races from 214 starters since taking over the powerful stable of Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen in January this year.
Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen were a dominant force in harness racing racking up nearly 900 wins and almost $30 million dollars in stakes when they retired late last year.
Mark Purdon was noted driving a number of Hayden Cullen trained horses at the recent North Canterbury trials including the impressive Franco Indie (Always B Miki) who is on a path to the Sires Stakes and is due to race again in the following few weeks.
