Ryal Bush trainer Brett Gray carts five runners to the Invercargill Harness Racing Club’s Autumn meeting on Saturday with Sodoyahavtime (Art Major) named by Brett as his best chance.
Connie Jaccka (Always B Miki) was spotted running on at her last start and is in a winnable race in the first.
Maiden trotter Timmy Turtle (Skyvalley) was okay on debut finishing fifth. He draws barrier one in Race Three.
One win trotter Janaka’s Delight (Bettor’s Delight) was back to her old habits at her last start, breaking at the start. She gets the aid of a mobile again on Saturday and a good draw at two in Race Four.
Sodoyahavtime hasn’t raced for over a year when at that time, he was racing against good two year old company. He’s had three workouts to get ready for his three year old debut in Race Six. He draws nicely at barrier one but Gray is not sure how well he’ll go on Saturday.
In Race Seven Pounamu (Washington VC) will come in fresh after last racing at the end of February. He’s run in two workouts as a build up to Saturday’s race.
In the last race Gray lines up Warrior Easton (Auckland Reactor).
