Ryal Bush trainer Brett Gray has six starters at the Winton Harness Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday (Sep. 23).

Janaka’s Delight (Bettor’s Delight) resumes after last racing at Invercargill on 17th June. She’s had two workouts this month in readiness for a return to the races. She starts in Race Two.

Gray has two trotters in Race Three, The Goodman Plumbing Ltd Trot, starting Velocity Jet (Quaker Jet) and Julie Jaccka (Father Patrick).

Velocity Jet has raced through the winter and brings solid form.

Julie Jaccka which won twice in her first prep has had two workouts for a win and a second to tighten her up for Saturday’s race.

First starter Sea Fury (Always B Miki) fronts up in the best maiden race on the days card (R4). He’s done plenty of ks at trials and workouts to fit him for the Winton Night ‘N Day Mobile Pace.

Hunting Weight (Stunin Cullen) has been solid all winter and gets the right draw to lead and win in Race Five.

The Gray day is completed in Race Nine when Stillyourshot (Gold Ace) races from barrier six. The three year old looked unlucky at his last start and is a good chance in one of the most even fields of the day. This is Gray’s best bet.
