Young harness racing trainer driver Zachery Butcher has a big day ahead of him on Tuesday with some key drives on Cup Day at Addington.
He’s known for wearing stylish caps, but you can rest assured any with a Nike brand will be left at home.
Butcher’s been out playing golf this week and relaxing around family and friends.
His unbeaten filly Mantra Blue (Sweet Lou) was the star of Addington on the 3rd November storming home from last to win on a wet track.
While a wet track can take the edge off a horse, Butcher says not so with Mantra Blue.
Butcher faces the task of not only overcoming a wide draw but trying to beat star filly Millwood Nike (Captaintreacherous).
Despite the task of trying to topple Millwood Nike and a bunch of other talented fillies, Butcher remains confident of Mantra Blue’s ability to win.
