Junior driver Taitlyn Hanara drove grand old trotter Kings Landing (Muscle Hill) to the eighth win of his harness racing career last night at Alexandra Park in the rating 46 to 55 handicap trot.

Hanara was having her second drive back from a break away from the sport and was understandably very happy with the win.
“I have been away from the scene for around 16 months I think I counted it up, so second drive back and to get the win it is pretty awesome,” Hanara told Alexandra Park content provider Jo Stevens after the race.
In showery conditions, Kings Landing came off a 30m handicap to beat Aflyin Spur and driver Todd Mitchell by just under a length, with Taitlyn Hanara positioning Kings Landing midfield in the running line, before launching on the turn and finishing best to get a deserved win in a fresh condition.
“He blew out the last wee bit but he stuck to his guns really good,” Hanara said.
