Down Under Winners from North America – 10th December

Former En Zedder Big Skewy (Sportswriter) caused a boilover when he outstayed a strong harness racing field in the $40,000 Preferred Handicap at The Meadowlands on Saturday night (December 8). 

BIG SKEWY REPLAY

The seven-year-old Sportswriter gelding enjoyed a perfect trip before gradually wearing down the leaders to score by a half-length in 1:49.4. He has now won 22 races and $US232,417 in stakes. 

It’s Rock And Roll, a Western Australian bred son of A Rocknroll Dance, sat parked for the last half-mile before winning the $27,500 Blue Hen Pace in 1:53.2 at Dover Downs on Thursday night (December 5). It was his fourth consecutive win at the five-eighths oval this season.
