Down Under Winners from North America – 12th September

The A Rocknroll Dance gelding It’s Rock And Roll notched his fifth win on end and his eighth for the harness racing season when he overcame an outside gate and a wide passage to win the $20,000 Open at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.4 on Monday (September 4). He has banked $121,290 in 2023. 

IT’S ROCK AND ROLL REPLAY

Former WA pacer Patrickthepiranha (Four Starzzz Shark) used the sprint lane to full advantage to capture the $15,900 Conditioned Pace in 1:50.6 at The Meadows on Saturday (September 9). The gelding boasts a lifetime bankroll of $474,347. 

No less than five ANZAC pacers clocked 1:50 or better in North America for the week. 

The list was headed by the NSW bred gelding Joes Star Of Mia, who recorded 1:49.2 at Pocono Downs on Saturday. Others to enter the 1:50 list were American Dealer NZ 1:49.4, Mason’s Delight NZ 1:49.6, Comet Crusader NZ 1:50 and Matai Louis NZ 1:50.
