Down Under Winners from North America – 28th May

The Art Major mare Majorca notched her third harness racing success from her last four starts and her 34th lifetime win when she captured the $22,500 Free-for-all in 1:52.2 at Harrington Raceway on Tuesday (May 21).

The Stunning Nun, an eight-year-old Bettor’s Delight mare bred off Woodlands Stud, led throughout to capture the $9,000 fillies and mares’ feature in 1:56 at Tioga Downs on Friday (May 24). It was her 26th lifetime success. 

The NZ bred A Rocknroll Dance gelding The Bird Dance lifted his stakes tally to almost $US300,000 when he led throughout in 1:51.8 in a $15,000 race at Saratoga Raceway on Saturday (May 25). 

Meanwhile, the Bettor’s Delight pair Arden Messi and Don’t Bother Me None became the latest NZ bred pacers to enter the 1:50 list in America last week. Arden Messi clocked 1:49.8 winning a $7,500 race at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Friday, while Don’t Bother Me None won in 1:50 flat at Scioto Downs on Saturday.
