Down Under Winners from North America – 3rd December

Oaxacan Dream, a New Zealand bred daughter of Big Jim, posted her 10th success for the success for the year when she won the $12,000 fillies and mares’ feature at Batavia Downs on Wednesday (November 27). 

OAXACAN DREAM N REPLAY

The eight-year-old began quickly from the No. 7 gate to lead, handed up at the end of the first quarter and then used the passing lane to score by a half-length in 1:55.2. 

The Gotta Go Cullen mare Major League NZ went wire-to-wire in a $12,000 event in 1:53.8 at Flamboro Downs on Thursday (November 28). 

Swedish Starlet, a Mach Three mare, notched her 13th win and raised her season’s earnings to almost $200,000 when she led throughout in the $25,000 feature at Plainridge Park on Friday (November 29). She won by a half-length in 1:53.6. 

The Bettor’s Delight gelding Melanion NZ led for the final three quarters to effortlessly win the $14,000 Open Handicap in 1:53.6 at Batavia Downs on Saturday night (November 30). It was his fifth success for the year.
