Down Under Winners from North America – 6th June 2023

The Bettor’s Delight gelding Raptor’s Flight notched his fourth straight harness racing win at The Meadowlands on Saturday night (June 3) when he took out a $14,500 race in 1:52. The nine-year-old former En Zedder has won seven of his 19 starts this year and more than $60,000 in stakes. 

RAPTOR”S FLIGHT REPLAY

Majorca, a NZ-bred daughter of Art Major and rated one of the best pacing mares in North America last year, scored a one length romp in the featured $20,000 Mares’ Open at Harrington Raceway on Tuesday (May 30).  

She clocked 1:53.2 in her third win this season. 

Two NSW pacers in Smooth Baht and Joes Star Of Mia recorded 1:50 miles last weekend. Smooth Baht went 1:49.8 at Hoosier Park, while Joes Star Of Mia won in 1:50 at Harrah’s Philadelphia. 

Ohoka Chopper NZ, a son of Christian Cullen, put up a new career mark of 1:49.4 at Oak Grove Raceway on Sunday (June 4).
