Down Under Winners from North America – 9th April

Imprincessgemma, a Victorian-bred daughter of Village Jolt, led from end-to-end to win the $14,000 Open for fillies and mares in 1:56.2 at Buffalo Raceway on Wednesday (April 3). The success lifted Imprincessgemma’s harness racing bankroll to $US609,189. 

The New Zealand bred Heaven On High (Rock N Roll Heaven) overcame an outside gate and some late pressure to win his Saratoga Raceway debut in a $15,000 Open in 1:54 on Saturday night (April 6). 

HEAVEN ON HIGH REPLAY

Lip Reader, a Sportswriter gelding bred by prominent NSW breeder John Starr, earned a new lifetime mark of 1:53.4 when he came from last to overpower his rivals in the $14,000 Open at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday night. It was his third success from five starts in America and lifted his stake tally to just shy of $US200,000.
