The country’s leading harness racing partnership of Robert and Jenna Dunn takes strong team to Addington on Friday (Aug. 18).
There’s plenty of quality in most of the fields as the better horses filter back into the racing mix meaning competition is getting tougher.
Three year old filly Judine (Art Major) led at her last start and was run down, finishing ninth. She draws wide at seven in Race Two and this time races against her own sex.
Team Dunn has two runners in Race Three – Who’s Delight (Bettor’s Delight) and Byrce’s Meddle (Terror To Love).
Who’s Delight (barrier 1) ran fourth behind Don’t Stop Dreaming (Bettor’s Delight) in the Sires Stakes Final in May before going out for a spell. He’s had one quiet trial to get him ready for his return to the track. Robert labelled Who’s Delight as the stables best bet.
Bryce’s Meddle ground out a win at his last start but faces a field of quality pacers this time round.
Hayley’s Meddle (Bettor’s Delight) gets a good draw (1) to work with in Race Six but faces the likes of last start winners Sinbad (Downbytheseaside), Tempo Warrior (A Rocknroll Dance) and Herb (Downbytheseaside).
Charlie Brown (Art Major) is Robert and Jenna’s second runner in this race. He last raced in the Sires Stakes Final in May. He made up good ground late in a trial at Addington two weeks ago and looks in good nick for his return.
