Before he heads to the big stage for ‘Aces and Oaks’ night at Addington on Friday, Wyndham trainer Craig Ferguson will present three runners at the Invercargill Harness Racing Club meeting at Ascot Park tomorrow.
Recent addition trotter Ah Dinnae Ken (Majestic Son) has had two public runs for Ferguson since last racing in September for previous trainer Alex Milne.
In the Neville Cleaver Fishing Pace, Ferguson lines up two runners – Nek Delight (Bettor’s Delight) and Netherton Franco, (Always B Miki) both of whom are having their first start this campaign.
Nek Time has the best draw at three. She’s had three workouts prior to resuming and will be driven by Southland’s leading junior Hayden Douglas.
Netherton Franco last raced in May and has been to two workouts this month for a second and a third. The five year old mare has a good fresh up record and will be driven by stable junior Max Hill.
