First crop of Lather Up on offer

Lather Up was a harness racing speed machine from a 2-year-old to the time he retired at four. Until recently Lather Up was the equal fastest pacer in the world over a mile taking a 1.46 record and he also still holds the record as the fastest horse in history over one mile and one-eighth after pacing a sizzling 1.59.2 with a mile rate of 1.46.3!

His glittering career saw him win the races that mattered, including the stallion making race The North American Cup. 

As a 4-year-old when the juveniles transition to the big time and often get lost amongst the big boys, Lather Up did the opposite and performed in style on the grand circuit, beating the likes of McWicked with ease!

Lather Up’s first yearling crops sold strongly in Ohio and Harrisburg and key USA trainers have them in their barn, which is a great early reference. Buyers paid over $30,000 to secure weanlings from his first crop in New Zealand.

He is leaving great types in his progeny and they are very similar to that of his grand-sire Bettor’s Delight. His first yearlings sell in Australia and New Zealand this season, we can’t wait!
