Young harness racing junior driver Monika Ranger grabbed her first win at her seventh driving start tonight at Alexandra Park.
Ranger got one up on her old boss Tony Herlihy beating him by three quarters of a length on the trotting outsider Call Me Trouble paying over $10.00 for the win.
It was a penalty free for the Zachary Butcher trained Call Me Trouble (Superfast Stuart) courtesy of the race conditions stating the winner would get a rating penalty free win if a 4YO and older, and was driven by a Junior Driver, and who had not previously won an exempt drivers race this season.
Monika Ranger is the daughter of former Harnesslink journalist Duane Ranger and now has the very good record of seven drives for a win and three thirds.
