Arabian Blue, a three-year-old gelding, was a very impressive winner on debut at Addington, New Zealand on Friday night (September 24). Buried three back along the markers in the last lap, the gelding once clear sprouted wings to win by open lengths.
He carved out the last 800 metres in a slick 55.6 seconds and rated 1:58.8 for the 1980 metres trip.
Juddy Douglas and Cinocal Jamane, a pair of Australian-bred pacers by Auckland Reactor, won at Albion Park and Devonport respectively last weekend.
Starting from the back row, Juddy Douglas circled the entire field in the middle stages and ran out a very convincing winner in a 1:54.5 rate over 1660 metres, while Cinocal Jamane led throughout from the pole.
Juddy Douglas has now won 12 races and $53,002 in stakes.
As at September 28, Auckland Reactor has sired 92 individual winners in Australia this season for almost $1.4 million in stakes.
